The year comes to a close....
It is hard to believe the year is coming to an end. I have to say it has been an absolute pleasure to have each and everyone of your children in my class. The growth that each of them has made social and academically is amazing. You should all be proud of your son/daughter.
As the summer approaches, please make sure your child does not have the summer slide. What can you to help? Make sure your child reads throughout the entire summer and visit the public library for their great summer reading program with prizes included. Also, have your son/daughter write each week about something fun they have done. Also, keep them working with numbers and math activities. Working on these areas over the summer will help your son/daughter enter First grade right where they left off at the end of Kindergarten.
I hope you and your family have a safe and relaxing summer. I hope to have visits from your son/daughter next school year. Thank you for all of your support throughout this school year.
