Update: May 15, 2020
Thanks to everyone for supporting your DREAM student this week! Many students have submitted work through Canvas. If you have not logged in yet, please check it out!

The links to our live classes are posted in Canvas. Please remember that attendance at live lessons is optional and should not be a source of stress for your family. There recorded lessons available on Canvas as well.

Keep up the good work! And as always, let me know how I can support your learning at home.

Update May 8, 2020
We have had a busy week this week learning about summarizing in language arts and place value in math. Next week we will work on context clues...how can I use the text to help me understand new or unfamiliar words? In writing we will review synonyms and antonyms. Third graders will work on repeating and growing geometric patterns, while the second graders will be working with equality and problem solving.

Please see your email for links to LIVE meetings. Links are also posted in CANVAS. All assignments are in Canvas and can be submitted through that platform. Keep sending me your work...I love to see your thinking!

You are DREAM students...whether you are working in school or working at home! Keep it up!

Please let me know how I can support you at home!

UPDATE 4/30: We are making nice progress on our transition to CANVAS. I appreciate the feedback you have offered about the new platform. If you are having difficulty accessing the site, please let me know. As of Monday, May 4, our goal is for all work will be posted and submitted through Canvas (except for those without access).
The students are doing a great job in our daily live lessons. Please remember that all students should sign in with their real name. Links to the meetings will be provided through Canvas or email.
I LOVE to see all the learning the kids are doing at home. Please keep sharing their experiences!
Keep working hard! Let me know how I can support you at home.

Update April 20, 2020: I love seeing the students on our live meetings! Hearing them share ideas and interact with each other is always the best part of any day! I have started a new You Tube channel with instructional videos in case you are not able to join in the live meetings. Please look for information on how to access that in your email.

Today during our LIVE lesson I gave the students a tour of the new Canvas learning platform. I encourage you to "play" with the assignments there. I love that everything is in ONE place...easy to access! I will host a parent meeting on MONDAY, April 27 at 10:00 to introduce you to the platform. Starting May 4, all assignments will be done through Canvas.
Please keep doing what you're doing! Clearly the kids have been busy balancing work and play...Let me know how I can support you at home.

Update 4/11: I hope everyone had a restful spring break and is ready to tackle our new world of "virtual" learning! I have uploaded this week's instructional calendar to the "files" section.
