This is my 9th year teaching and 4th year at King! I grew up in PWCS and I have a chocolate lab named Dierks. I am an ESOL teacher that works with first and fifth grade. I am very excited to work with you and your student this school year as we grow and learn together!
Amy Buongiovanni

My name is Amy Buongiovanni. I was an Army brat until we settled in PWC, and I have called Virginia home ever since. I graduated from Osbourn Park HS, and so did my husband. This is my first year teaching at King ES, but many years ago my twin boys and their brother attended Kindergarten through Second grade here. We love this school! I have 5 kids, but only my youngest is still in public school. She is a junior at Colgan HS. Her older brothers have all moved on to college. I love to travel, read, ride my bike, hang out with my family and friends, and eat good food.

My family and I have lived in Prince William County for 16 years. I have five children who love to play soccer, the violin, and swim. This will be my 2nd year teaching at King Elementary as an ESOL teacher. My undergraduate degree is in Speech Language Pathology. I am a career switcher and love seeing the progress of my EL students. When I am not teaching, I enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending time with family. I'm excited for this new school year!

Hello King Family! I am excited for a new year at King ES. This will mark my fourth year at King, and in a new role! I am excited to work with our EL students in third grade:). I have worked in PWCS my entire teaching career and have four children who attend PWCS as well. When not teaching you will find me watching my kids play sports, participate in theater programs, and hanging with our extended family! I am excited to see our students grow and learn this year!
