The log-in page for the Virginia Phonemic Awareness and Literacy Screening has a tab for parents. Click on the tab and scroll down to "monthly activities". Here you will find several pages with book ideas and activities that you can participate in with your child to help with their understanding of letters, sounds, spelling, etc.
There are also some additional ideas for games and activities under the resources tab on the PALS log on page. You should be able to access these materials without having a log-in code or password.
